If indeed you were a chicken well then you’d know what it was all about. Here is a song that answers that age old question about the chicken and the egg…ok no it does not, it just informs you that farmed chickens can have a pretty rough time of it.

If Poor Stupid Fucker wasn’t enough to convince you that James is just a big softie romantic at heart I present to you further evidence of this with “The Moment”. This is a love song for elephants, that’s right, can anyone else produce for me another love song written for/about elephants? This is another tune that has John up front on vocals and James providing harmonies, I don’t want to sound like a sap but you can keep your Simon and Garfunkel, I prefer Mount and Jordan even if the names don’t quite roll off the tongue as easily. I guess we should just refer to it as the Mt. Jordan combo.

Ok, the title may be deceptive, this is really a love song as only James Jordon could write it. I mean come on people it contains lyrics likeĀ “With my big bull tongue, I’m gonna give you a big bull kiss”, hilarious and undeniably charming. We definitely were playing around with some background noise and our patented low-fi effects in the recording listen closely.

Our country has been through some tough times, and we’ve been witness to an industrial decline that has left many families and whole cities devastated. Jobs shipped overseas in order to help the insatiable thirst for profit, do you really believe Americans don’t WANT to do these jobs? This song by James really paints the picture quite well.

Here is a sentimental little song about flies from James. “They fly on shit and they break it down”, oh yeah this song has one of the greatest “solo” sections in recorded history…who says Barely Bi-Pedal isn’t punk rock! This is one didn’t make it on the cd, but that’s only because we ran out of space. I’ll be posting all the bonus songs here and will add download links as soon as I sort that out.

I tell you who’s afraid…me! This is one haunting song from Nancy. “Panic is a white glove” she sings in this nightmarish ballad about on place we can all agree we’d rather avoid…the hospital.

A trippy song from the fantastic mind of Eric Royer! This was from the “Tiny Houses Filled with Sick People” double cassette release and was recorded during a long weekend in Bisbee in John’s mom’s greenhouse.

This is the first song from the Earthworm release. Great harmonies, and a classic BBP original from James. This song more than any reminds me of Tucson.
